The Surjagad Ispat Pvt Ltd company is supporting the industrial growth of Maharashtra and making large investments in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. In the 340-acre Naxal-affected area of Wadlapeth village, Gadchiroli- Maharashtra, an integrated steel mill is being established.
Thus marking a new footprints in Gadchiroli’s development, the company has been inaugurated with an investment of Rs.10,000 crore in Gadchiroli. This project will provide significant employment opportunities for local residents and meet the country’s steel requirements.

Project Highlights and Vision
Sunil Joshi, President of Surajgad Ispat Pvt Ltd, stated, “Out of the 350 acres of land, 35 percent has been reserved for greenery.” The project will feature a township, temple, gym, and a helipad. The first phase is slated to commence by December 2025, with the entire project expected to be completed by 2027.
The steel complex will not only bring employment to the region but also provide comprehensive facilities including accommodation, food, hospitals, and education for experts relocating to Gadchiroli. The surrounding villages will benefit from improved infrastructure, including water, electricity, education, and medical facilities
