Surjagad Ispat Private Limited is finally culminating their plan of putting up a Greenfield Integrated Steel Plant at Gadchiroli with an investment of ₹10,000 crores.
This plant will create 8000 direct and indirect jobs. Sunil Joshi also emphasised that they are bringing world class manufacturing technology with a high emphasis on environmental sustainability to ensure they create a Green steel plant.

Surjagad Ispat Private Limited – which acquired 340 acres has proposed to come up with a Rs. 10,000 crores project in four phases at Wadlapeth viallage in Aheri tehsil of the tribal-dominated district.
“We plan to finish levelling of land and building a compund wall and begin with the first phase of the project. With a capacity of 0.75 million tons, the first leg will entail and investment of 2,500 crore of which 15% would come as a foreign direct investment (FDI),” said Mr. Vedansh Joshi a director in Surjagad Ispat.”
